How did you meet this standard?
I met this standard by looking at the existing Elrod floor plan and drawing the walls in my Revit floor plan based off of it. I had to use the architect scale to get the right size for the lengths of the walls. I used the 4:1 scale to get the correct lengths on my project.
How does this standard have real-world application?
This standard has real world applications because in the architect and construction field they use blue prints that are scaled down to fit on the sheet of paper. In math class we learn about dilations and that applies here. Often before they start a project a scale model will be built to show what the project might look like.
What is your future learning goals related to this standard?
My future learning goals would be to use scales and understand there effect on day to day life.

How did I meet this standard?
I met his standard by being able to read and interoperate drawing given to you and the drawing that I did myself. I needed to be familiar with the different uses of dimensions and line types. I also had to familiarize myself with the architects scale to be able to measure my drawings and blueprints. I originally learned how to use the scale back in the intro class.
How does this standard have real world applications?
This standard has real world applications because it stresses the importance of using the resources given o you effectively to be able to complete a project effectively and correctly.
What are your future leaning goals for this standard?
My future learning goals for this standard are to be able to use the tools around the classroom to be able to complete my project. I would also like to continue to learn how to read and interpret existing architectural drawings.
How did I meet this standard?
I met this standard by using the architecture scale to correctly draw the floor plan for the house that I chose. by being able to read and use the architects scale it made it much easier to draw the house on Revit. This was an important step in the drawing process for me because it effects the house throughout the entire project.
How does this standard have real world applications?
This standard has real world applications because blue prints to houses have set scales on them so that the construction workers and architects are using the same scale when creating and designing to make sure the building comes out correct
What are your future learning goals for this standard?
My future learning goals for this standard are to be able to understand how the scale effects the rest of the project.
