Prepare elevations for residential drawings.
6.1 Explain the purpose of elevations.
6.2 Sketch elevations.
6.3 Create elevation drawings with labels and dimensions to include: roof slope and overhang, type of roofing, door and window location, and porches.

How did you meet this standard?
I met this standard by using the Auto CAD and Revit programs. I importing my views form Revit into Auto CAD. I had to change the lines to match the appropriate lines on the picture that Mr.Grummer provided for us. After changing the lines I put the drawing on paper space to be able to be printed off if needed.
How does this standard have real-world application?
This standard has real world applications because Architects in the real world use elevations and different views to show how the house should look and to help with the construction process.
What is your future learning goals related to this standard?
My future learning goals for this standard are to be able to be familiar with the line types and elevations. I would like to be able to draw my future elevations with less mistakes as this time.

I had to export my Revit elevation on to autoCAD . Once the elevations are put onto autoCAD I had to then edit them to make them correct for publishing.
